Played here 11-3-12, a chilly and blustery Saturday AM, for $44, which I thought was a little steep for the season, even for a weekend.
Course is a county muni, and it is very well maintained. Layout is OK, not too imaginative, with lots of parallel fairways, but there is some elevation change well integrated into the design, and there are lots of tall trees making the challenge real. Course could use some better distance markings other than discs in the fairway: specifically, I'd like to see a post at the 150 mark, just to get a visual reference off the tee. Having said all of that, the design is serviceable, and there is adequate room between greens and tees to avoid inadvertent incoming missiles, which can be a problem on some munis. No serious water to worry about and minimal artificiality, like railroad ties and moguls. Best of all, no houses anywhere!
Conditions were exceptionally good on Saturday, despite the lateness of the season. Tee boxes were well-grassed with few worn spots, fairways were excellent (barring a few thousand leaves), bunkers were a little thin and compacted from the after-effects of Hurricane Sandy, and the greens were in outstanding shape, putting fairly quick and true.
Sadly, there were dozens of ball marks on almost every green: I typically fixed three or four, but could have spent ten more minutes per hole. Clearly, more emphasis needs to be placed on ball mark repair by the staff. I'd suggest that a word from the Ranger to groups while they are playing would go a long way.
Course is walkable, as the layout is fairly compact, and there are no huge distances between holes. Clubhouse is relatively small, but contains the essentials, and has a very nice "neighborhood" feel to it. Staff we met was uniformly excellent: mostly older gentlemen, all with a friendly attitude, and all seemed interested in our enjoyment. I recommend!

We only play nine holes after work and I get a cart and am a senior. We love this course and choose to go back every time!
